Hello! I’m Cordelia Alegre, a passionate director and screenwriter born in Barcelona.
Cordelia Alegre, director and screenwriter born in Barcelona. He graduated in Audiovisual Communication at the Pompeu Fabra University, with a course completed at the Université Paris VII thanks to an Erasmus scholarship. As his final degree thesis, he co-directed the documentary «The Distance of the Names», tutored by Jordi Balló and Isaki Lacuesta and premiered at the Seminci de Valladolid in 2016. He studied the Master’s in Documentary at the UPF and became an assistant director by the director Neus Ballús in the film «Sis dies corrents», produced by Distinto Films. She currently works as a freelance producer specializing in the production of audiovisual concerts for organizations such as L’Auditori or the Gran Teatre del Liceu. She is also a co-founder of the Nadir – Audiovisual and Education Association, based in the Fabra i Coats Creation Factory, which develops film workshops in various educational centers.
Her short film «Mestral», produced by Fractal, was selected in the «Acció Curts» program of Dones Visuals and premiered at the Barcelona D’A Festival, as well as present at the Aspen Short Film Festival (EEUU) and Raindance Film London Festival among others. At the same time, he is developing the script for the fictional feature film «La Unión» produced by Àngels Masclans and the Colombian production company Rara Colectivo. The project has been present in several script laboratories (The Screen La incubadora, Residencia Iberoamericana de guion, TFL extended, Novos Cinemas, Scriptnest) and has been the beneficiary of several development and production grants. Filming is scheduled for 2025.
